What's new in CrunchJunky
Every release, explained plainly. No marketing fluff.
AI Visibility — brand-level deep dive
Each brand now has its own dedicated visibility workspace with a persistent left-nav panel. Overview, Responses, Sources, Insights, Prompts, and Settings are each their own route — no more hunting through tabs.
- Brand-level routes at /visibility/[clientId] with section sub-nav
- Responses page: filter by All / Mentioned / Not mentioned / Mention gap
- Sources page: domain bar chart with citation counts
- Insights page: prioritised action cards with category filtering
- Sidebar auto-highlights AI Visibility when inside any brand route
Google AI Overviews tracking
CrunchJunky can now track whether your clients appear in Google AI Overviews — the AI-generated summaries at the top of search results. Requires a SerpAPI key.
- New model: Google AI Overviews via SerpAPI
- Visibility, position, and citation data for AI Overview appearances
- Shown alongside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity in trend charts
Competitive quadrant chart
A new scatter chart plots all tracked brands on a Visibility vs Sentiment axis — instantly showing who leads, who lags, and who is controversial. Only appears when two or more brands have data.
- Quadrant labels: Leaders, Niche, Controversial, Laggers
- Hover tooltips with exact scores
- Uses the same brand color palette as trend lines
Dark mode
Full dark mode support across every page — reports, dashboard, monitoring, and AI Visibility. Toggle in Settings → Preferences or let the system decide.
- All CSS custom properties respect data-theme='dark'
- Charts, cards, and modals all dark-mode aware
- System preference detection on first load
- Per-workspace preference saved in account settings
Prompt performance sparklines
The Overview tab now shows a sparkline bar for each tracked prompt — 14 days of daily mention rate visualised as a bar column. Green = mentioned in more than half of runs, grey = not mentioned.
- Trend arrow (up/down) comparing first and second half of the period
- Mention rate percentage at the right edge
- Sorted by highest mention rate by default
- Colour-coded category dots (Discovery / Brand / Competitor)
Grok and DeepSeek support
Two new AI models are available for visibility tracking: Grok (xAI) and DeepSeek. Both require an API key added in Settings → AI Visibility Keys.
- Grok 3 via xAI API
- DeepSeek Chat
- Both appear in model filter dropdowns and trend charts
Report delivery and scheduler fixes
Several edge cases in the monthly scheduler were causing reports to send with stale data or not send at all for workspaces in certain timezones.
- Fixed UTC vs local timezone offset in cron schedule
- PDF generation no longer fails when a widget has no data for the period
- Re-send button in delivery log now works for failed sends
- Improved error messages when an integration token expires mid-run
AI Visibility perception tab
A new Perception tab extracts the adjectives and descriptors that AI models actually use when mentioning a brand — built as a weighted word cloud per brand.
- Tag cloud sized by frequency — bigger = mentioned more often
- Shown per brand including competitors
- Filters to the selected time window
- Attribute extraction runs server-side on each scan result
AI Visibility launch
CrunchJunky now tracks how often your clients appear in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity responses. Daily automated scans, trend charts, and competitor benchmarking — the first agency-grade AI visibility tool.
- Visibility %, Avg. Position, Sentiment, Share of Voice metrics
- Multi-model tracking: ChatGPT (web search), Gemini, Perplexity Sonar Pro, Claude
- Competitor benchmarking on the same chart
- Prompt management by category (Discovery / Brand / Competitor)
- Daily and weekly automated scan schedules
- CSV export of all snapshot data
